Sigred dies
First contact with the Gronks
Humans something Gronks.
Gronks declare war
Gronks on the road to victory
Only What we Know Timeline (Erica)[edit | edit source]
- Sigred dies as or before humans discover Gronks
- Humans discover Gronks and try to invade Nomalis for resources [presumably before Gronks near Earth, but not entirely clear]
- The Gronks wage war on those humans
- At some point before their arrival on earth, Gronks destroyed a sun. (Though the placement of this is not absolute, Gronks could be on earth without human knowledge before humans ever "discover" them and invade their world.)
- Tamnayal knows of Kallisto in some way (and thus is able to "recognize" them whenever they "meet in person for the first time".)
- There is a masquerade. (Sigred is dead, and Tamnayal has to already have the Tome to be able to give it to Kallisto. I'm assuming Tam knows who she is giving the Tome to, otherwise the masquerade could be before she is aware of Kallisto. (This is assuming there is ONE masquerade ball, during which Tamnayal both isolates herself (for unrelated reasons) and THEN ALSO gives the Tome to Kallisto, this all taking place within ~3 hours.)
- There is a fire at the masquerade, which Emile is caught in.
- Tamnayal has lines "at the end" that "as much as [confirm]" that she has turned to the Gronks' side.
- Emile and Dundra try and fail to escape something heavily implied (due to structure of conversation) to be The Compound. (Wink is unsure of whether or not dundra will stay there, implying this is the end of their story that we know thus far.)
Major-sounding but floating/unplaced events[edit | edit source]
- At some point before certain peace talks happen, the LPC have already created a sun (expt 33018).
- There is a twist that happens at some point before the final two seasons, which have yet to come out.
- Emile begins training under Tamnayal.
- In Season 4, Master/the Master is captured by the LPC.
- In Season 4, some humans are seen filing onto The Compound Planet.
- Dundra has visions of Salvador which tell them to betray their kind (Gronks)
- Gronks arrive on earth
- Emile is captured by the Gronks. This arc lasts at least 8 episodes if we take Flippers at face value abt Glenn and Ricket's potential to have made said arc "8 episodes shorter"
- There is a banquet at which humans and Gronks try to make peace
- Kallisto ruins intergalactic relations
- Glenn & Ricket vs Kenton with an elephant balloon incident
- Tamnayal is given, and studies, The Forgotten Tome. (This could be during Emile's training because she is so engrossed in it at the time, but that doesn't have to be the case.)
A Proposed Timeline (Erica) version 1 (THIS IS NOW NOT CURRENT!)[edit | edit source]
[this is a sketch. i don't know if it's right and I don't know if it helps. And not all of it is even canon. but I'm gonna write it down cause it is one option.]
- At some point, Gronks begin looking for suns to harvest/destroy, and do so in one system.
- Humans on Earth learn of Nomalis, a miraculous life-giving planet (potentially they learn this from the Tome, which at some point here is in the hands of the LPC.)
- The LPC helps Sigred/Singred in some way, and Sigred is assigned to a ship going to Nomalis.
- Humans, aided perhaps by Sigred and Tamnayal, travel to Nomalis. Kallisto is also on this ship, [could be the child of two researchers, for some reason this is interesting to me perhaps because then he fully immerses in that which they would study had they lived—could also be the child of workers who are actually intending to DO the literal digging]
- Tamnayal and Kallisto proceed to get into trouble on the ship (probably digging up drama)? while perhaps Sigred, being in communication with Tamnayal and also with management and administration, is the one who has to report what's going on? I don't know
- As the ship(s) near Nomalis, Tamnayal is, if not in contact with, presumably aware of the Gronks being sapient because of her psionic abilities, but choses to tell no one. She only tells them Nomalis is inhabited.
- Humans find that Nomalis is inhabited by the sapient Gronks, who attack the human ships, killing Sigred.
- The humans fight back, initially gaining the upper hand and gaining some control over parts of Nomalis.
- The Gronks declare war on humans.
- The Gronks rally and push back against human occupation, leveling the playing field and then turning the tables completely.
- The Death March Division is sent onto the ground on Nomalis.
- A young Kallisto's parents are killed, but Kallisto, presumably in home or ship wreckage, is taken in by the Gronks.
- Reeve is implied to have died [presumably along with many or all of the Death March Division.]
- The humans retreat (?), speeding back to Earth at near light speed. On Nomalis, the Gronks begin receiving strange visions from Salvador, the Earth's sun, calling them to come and harvest it (? must confirm). Kallisto ages and assimilates into Gronk society, and takes on an important role in the eventual pursuit.
- The Gronks begin preparing to warp to earth (either by use of a gate, or some kind of warp drive).
- The Gronks begin tasking espers with somehow studying earth's past.
- Tamnayal, with very little relative time having passed, arrives back on earth.
- Officials of Earth and the LPC recognize Tamnayal's talents and enlist her to help fight back against an impending (or present) Gronk invasion. They give her an apprentice, Emile, to train, hoping he will surpass her skills.
- Tamnayal begins to train Emile.
- The LPC realizes that Tamnayal may be able to understand The Forgotten Tome better than they can, and perhaps think it may lend some insights into the nature of the Gronks and how best to combat their forces. Tamnayal's telepathy and ability to reach out mentally toward the Gronks may allow her to better understand the book.
- The LPC gives Tamnayal The Forgotten Tome. Tamnayal quickly becomes engrossed and begins to neglect her role as teacher to Emile.
- Despite the death of Sigred by the hands of the Gronks, Tamnayal may here begin to be swayed by whatever she finds in the Tome, and perhaps it is here she starts wanting the Gronks to win.
- A masquerade ball is held to honor or represent [???],
- Kallisto
- Gronk ships arrive in the Sol system.
- Presumably, the Gronks and humans wage war during this period. Despite this, Tamnayal and Kallisto's connection continues to grow.
- The Master must remind their students not to hug captured Gronks
- The LPC throws a wrench in (or perhaps just badly organizes) peace talks between the Gronks and the humans, doing nothing to decrease tensions.
- At the same time, the LPC expects (or wants) the process of making peace to move quickly and unrealistically smoothly. By trying to move too quickly and insensitively, they only serve to make things worse.
- Connie probably kills someone around here.
- Emile leaves SOMETHING. He is never part of the LPC, but I imagine maybe he left taking part in some program that they were heading up, or leaving a meeting where they act like they are going to help him but don't.
- There is a battle between humans and Gronks that either involves Emile running a mission, OR they go to wherever he is to capture him.
- Emile is captured and imprisoned by the Gronks. [Unclear where, unclear whether the Gronks are or aren't taking humans to The Compound yet. "The prison arc" (unclear which) is implied to be 8 episodes or longer, which seems long. So Emile could in fact be taken to another planet.]
The Prison Arc (potentially takes place on The Compound, but not necessarily, could be on a ship or station.)[edit | edit source]
- Emile is imprisoned on the planet meant for human POW.
- Dundra, Emile, and Kallisto are all on a space station together, looking at a sun. [was Flippers' desktop bg.]
- Emile returns to the humans, and mentions Dundra, but does not explain that Dundra is a Gronk.
- Radio transmissions play a role in the reveal that Dundra is a Gronk. ["Early" radio transmissions. Maybe Dundra sends messages to Emile via radio and they are stored and then found, and the reveal happens this way?]
- Emile offers to hug Dundra, which is refused, though Dundra comes close to accepting.
- Presumably fighting dies down a little, and Emile is present at a banquet which both humans and Gronks are to attend. Emile forgetting that carrots are a taboo dinner food results in the human effort being ill received.
- At some point (perhaps only in visions of the future?) it is implied that Tristian is destroyed.
