'''Tamnayal''' is a human and [[Emile]]'s teacher. She works for someone. 

(Notes: Her possession of an albatross (See [[Albatross]] or [[Albatross (bird)]]) somehow seems to imply a forthcoming betrayal.
She associates many of her own troubles with Kallisto.
She also takes the Tome to Kallisto while Emile is masquerading fire (it is unclear if the Tome completes its journey
She also struggles between keeping it and giving it to the LPC. She leaves the masquerade ball and isolates herself for a few hours (implied three hours), with there being some time presumably during which she is doing this for the purpose of isolation due to guilt ''rather'' than in the actual act of getting the Tome to Kallisto.


It is asked whether Sigred's death may have influenced her view on Kallisto, whether or not that is how she perceives him upon first meeting (or re-meeting) him or whether that means it changes an already extant perspective.)

Tamnayal is a human woman [an age Ary/Peter would classify as "older," perhaps 50 or 60? Though is sometimes shipped with Connie, who is 25 years younger.] Her hair length changes throughout the series.

== Personality ==

Tamnayal (whether she is or isn't in reality) comes across as tortured. She also has the capacity to be read as the type to simply follow orders. Tamnayal is characterized as a pessimist, as contrasted with the optimistic Sigred and the pragmatic Kallisto.  
== Abilities ==

Tamnayal is primary a scientist and academic (probably a physicist). However, she may also have secondary skills as a pilot.
